This service includes any repair
we accomplish that doesn't involve the removal of your

test and external examination of your transmission, where
we will evaluate the performance and condition of your vehicle's
transmission, and determine what services, if any, are required.
Cottman TransGuard™ Tune-Up
Service
Cottman's TransGuard™ Service
helps to prevent transmission trouble before it starts.
We will perform our TransCheck 21 PLUS® Service, which
includes a road test and external inspection, and we'll
also replace your vehicle's transmission fluid and filter
- all for one price! Cottman's TransGuard™ Service
is more than just a tune-up.
Cottman Remanufactured Transmission
(Service Grade I)
Our Service Grade I is the most
extensive - and the most complete - service offered by Cottman's
Transmission Physician. The Cottman SG I is a 15-step remanufacturing
process that includes thoroughly inspecting and cleaning
all of your transmission's internal parts. This service
also includes the replacement of all wearable parts. Based
upon specific damage, if additional parts need to be replaced,
we will note if the parts are new, used, or rebuilt. In
certain cases, vehicles receiving Cottman's Service Grade
I may be eligible for lifetime warranties. Please speak
with the Manager of your local Cottman center for details.
Cottman Overhaul Transmission
(Service Grade II)
We thoroughly clean and inspect
all internal parts of your vehicle's transmission. The cleaning
and inspection is just one element of a 10-step overhaul
process, which enables our technicians to replace the parts
necessary so that your transmission once again meets Original
Equipment Manufacturers Specifications. The Service Grade
II will come with a limited warranty. See Manager for details.
Cottman Remove, Check and Inspection
(RCI) Service
Cottman's RCI Service allows our
technicians to completely and thoroughly evaluates all internal
components of your vehicle's transmission. We perform this
service if the Free Trans Check 21 PLUS® indicates you
have an internal transmission problem. We remove the transmission
and completely disassemble and check all internal parts
of the transmission. The RCI Service is the ONLY way to
accurately determine the cause of an internal problem and
make sensible repair recommendations. [Tell

Cottman Reseal Service
We replace all internal and external
seals in your vehicle's transmission. Cottman performs this
service after inspection of the transmission and it is designed
to repair leaking transmissions, which have no other internal
